Last night in Barcelona, ultimo round dritti verso la meta.

Dopo aver salutato il Park del Forum e aver pestato i piedi sulle tracce di KÖLSCH e GUI BORATTO, la nostra direzione è una sola : El Monasterio.

Per chi non fosse mai stato a Barcellona, El Monasterio del Poble Espanyol è un must presente sulla famosa check-list delle cose da fare nella vita di un buon party harder.

Una sorta di “Paese dei balocchi” all’aria aperta, realizzato nel 1929 e progettato dall’architetto Josep Puig i Cadafalch.

Provate ora ad immaginare una location così dedicata ad un evento come Boiler Room + IR BCN.

Siamo ancora colpiti dalla semplicità della fusione tra il sacro e il profano. La sacralità de El Monasterio che troneggia su tutta Barcellona e le vibrazioni di quella che è stata una serata che ha lasciato davvero il segno.

Nella line-up echeggiano nomi  conosciuti come Ben UFO, Makam, Solar, Danilo aka MCDE e Dekmantel Soundsystem , concludendo con l’eroe del mixaggio : Dj Harvey .        

Con suoni balearici mischiati a ritmi più house e  camicia a fiori  di ordinanza;  il dj londinese ci ha regalato una due ore di positività assoluta.  

Ultima sorpresa della serata  barcellonina è stato il ritrovarsi tra Dixon ( special guest della Boiler Room) e Dettmann strappandogli la foto ricordo dei nostri giorni in terra catalana!

Insomma, se credevamo di essere ormai sulla via del ritorno quando abbiamo salutato il nostro Sònar de noche, ci siamo tutti dovuti ricredere alla grande sulle sorprese che Barcellona ha sempre in serbo per chi per questo genere nutre forte passione…

Passione che ti smuove, che ti spinge, che ti fa sudare, che ti fa condividere ma soprattutto che ti fa VIVERE la Sònar week fino all’ultimo beat.

Last surprise of the evening was the being among Dixon (special guest of the Boiler Room) and Dettmann ripping the photo memories of our days in the land of Catalonya!

In short, if we thought we were now on the way back when we said goodbye to our Sonar de noche, we all were wrong on the big surprises that Barcelona has always deserved for those who nurtures strong passion for this kind …

Passion that moves you, pushing you, that makes you sweat, making you share but above all that makes you the LIVE Sònar week until the last beat.
