Dicono che tra le alpi svizzere, tra gli impianti sciistici di Verbier, avrà luogo uno degli eventi più attesi ed esclusivi dell’anno già vincitore del ‘Best Big Event’ 2016, e noi non potevamo lasciarcelo scappare.
Alla sua terza edizione, POLARIS FESTIVAL alza l’asticella delle aspettative (e della nostra eccitazione): 6 locations di cui una a 2’200 metri d’altezza saranno il palcoscenico degli oltre 40 artisti per quelli che si prospettano essere 4 giorni bollenti.
Leggende della house music, promesse della musica elettronica, talenti made in Switzerland: la ricetta di questo festival è un mix pronto a sciogliere il ghiaccio e a far esplodere la valle.
Programma
Giovedi 7 : Day #0 a mezzogiorno si parte con il ‘Day 0’ Party. Di nome un riscaldamento, di fatto l’ingresso nel cuore pulsante del festival. Location d’eccezione la terrazza dell’Hotel Chalet D’Adrien per Gerd Janson, Tom Trago. Al tramonto ci si sposta a Le Rouge, con Alan Braxe e Mandrax. Infine gli afterparties in contemporanea: a l’Etoile e a Le Farinet ci sono Oscar Conway, Gerd Janson e Bill Brewster.
Venerdi 8: Day #1
Si parte alla scoperta del main stage: Le Mouton Noir è una struttura completamente a vetro che domina le alpi svizzere, dove dalle 14 si festeggia l’après midi con Seth Troxler, Luciano, Bas Ibellini e Butch, per poi dover scegliere tra i tre after con Garance, Derrick Carter «Does Disco», William Djoko, Job Jobse, Ngoc Lan, Djazz, Folkor Soundsystem. Il Crock No Name avrà invece La Main Mise come protagonista assoluto dalle 18 all’una del mattino.
Sabato 9 Day #2
La festa continua dalle 12 con (per la prima volta in Svizzera) un live di Larry Heard aka Mr Fingers LIVE, artista che sarà protagonista del focus on della prossima settimana; Omar-S, Kenny Dope, Young Marco, Lazy Fat People (Mirko Loko and Ripperton) , Virginia (resident Panorama Bar) , Kalabrese & Jimi Jules, Mr. Mike, Idriss D, Princess P., Reas, Opuswek, Brown S, Limited Brothers
Domenica 10 Day #3
Non siamo stanchi: Mouton Noir con Nina Kraviz, Leon Vynehall, Virgo Four, Traffic da mezzogiorno alle cinque e mezzo, afterparty a L’Etoile dalle 22 con Moms e Derrick May mentre a Le Farinet Praslesh e Sandro Khune.
Siamo davvero curiosi e felici di poter prendere parte a questo super evento!

The story goes that there is an enchanted place, where snow-capped-mountains and a clear sky blend with bands of colored lights, smiles, Music.
Among the Swiss Alps, in the Verbier ski resort, takes place one of the most classy and exclusive events of the year already winner of the ‘Best Big Event’ 2016, and we could not let it run away.
For this third edition, POLARIS FESTIVAL raises the line of expectations (and our excitement): during four days, more then 40 artists spread over 6 locations – one of which is perched at 2200 meters above sea level – will perform every day and make these days HOT.
Legends of house music, promises of electronic music, talents made in Switzerland: the recipe for this festival is a mix ready to melt the ice and blow up the valley.

Thursday : Day #0
Raids start at noon with ‘Day 0’ Party. Not really a warm up, but it will take us straight to the Festival heart with Gerd Janson and Tom Trago playing in an exceptional location: the terrace of the Hotel Chalet D’Adrien. At sunset we are moving to Le Rouge, with, Alan Braxe and Mandrax. Finally, the afterparties at L’Etoile and Le Farinet with Oscar Conway, Gerd Janson and Bill Brewster.
Friday 8: Day # 1
We will start our discovery of the main stage: Le Mouton Noir is a restaurant located at 2’200 m and covered by a glass dome which offers a breathtaking view on the Swiss Alps. At 14h00, the party starts with Seth Troxler, Luciano, Bas Ibellini and Butch until 23H00. Following which the festival goers can continue the party in the clubs located in the ski station with Garance, Derrick Carter «Does Disco», William Djoko, Job Jobse, Ngoc Lan, Djazz, Folkor Soundsystem. The Crock No Name will instead have the Main Mise as the absolute protagonist from 18am to 01 am.
Sabato 9 Day # 2
The party goes on from noon, with (for the first time in Switzerland) a live set by Larry Heard aka Mr Fingers LIVE, Omar-S, Kenny Dope, Young Marco, Lazy Fat People (Mirko Loko and Ripperton), Virginia (Resident Panorama Bar), Kalabrese & Jimi Jules, Mike, Idriss D, Princess P., Reas, Opuswek, Brown S, Limited Brothers.
Sunday 10th Day # 3
Mouton Noir will host Nina Kraviz, Leon Vynehall, Virgo Four, Traffic from noon to five. Afterparty take place at L’Etoile from 22 unwards with Moms and Derrick May, and Sandro Kuhne at Le Farinet.
In short, we are really excited to have the chance to participate this super event.
