For the very first time in Switzerland, Polaris Festival is proud to announce Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers performing live: the festival black house music celebration apotheosis will happen on 9th December (4 pm).
The true legend of soulful house music will take us on an afternoon-dance trip through one of his memorable live set.
After a long ‘silence’ – between “25 Years Of Alpha” 2012 and “Mr. Fingers 2016”- during which he worked on a lot of remixes and under-tracks, the Chicago artist comes back with a series of exclusive live shows.
At the age of 57, Larry Heard is still the flag of clubbing entertainment; not only a piece of story that often sounds as a museum piece to preserve, but a true ace in the hole that keeps shining in an increasingly changing and complex scene. The artist represents the past, the present and the future of house music: we all know he is one of the best writer and performer in house music panorama; his constant research and study about new frontiers of music combined with his modesty make us think he still has a lot to give in terms of teaching us the future.
“Clubbing has changed so vastly over the years, but I still want to entertain and be entertained while doing it,” he reveals on a recent interview “I hope people see that. Otherwise everything will just get so boring.”
Enjoy this historic bomb, waiting for Polaris Festival
